As many as 24,659 calls were received on ‘Dial 100’ and ‘Dial 112’ in Krishna district, with the average response time being 10 minutes, said Superintendent of Police R. Gangadhar Rao.
Addressing mediapersons at the annual press conference here on Tuesday, the SP said a total of 9,719 cases were registered in 2024, of which 1,073 were bodily offences, 713 were property offence cases and 980 were related to crime against women.
Ten digital arrest cases, 30 investment fraud and job cheating, 14 social media cases and two OTP cases were registered, he added.
