The jallikattu organised at Vamban village in the district left 32 persons injured on Thursday. As many as 763 bulls were released during the event with the number of participating tamers being 180.
Five among the injured were referred to the Government Hospital, Alangudi, and Pudukottai Government Medical College Hospital. The remaining injured persons were treated at the venue, said police sources.
