Actor and former chairman of the A.P. State Film, Television and Theatre Development Corporation Posani Krishna Murali, who is currently serving his 14-day judicial remand at the sub-jail in Rajampeta, was on Saturday shifted to the Government Medical College Hospital in Kadapa after he reportedly complained of congestion in the chest.

The Annamayya district police had arrested Mr. Krishna Murali at his residence in Hyderabad on February 26 under various Sections of the BNS for allegedly making derogatory comments against TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena Party chief K. Pawan Kalyan, and their family members, during the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government’s term.

The jail officials immediately rushed him to the government area hospital in Rajampeta and later shifted him to the Kadapa hospital.

After medical tests, Mr. Krishna Murali was brought back to the sub-jail.

The actor was shifted back to the sub-jail after doctors in the Rajampeta and Kadapa hospitals found his health condition normal, said Railway Kodur Circle Inspector Venkateswarlu.
