Adani Krishnapatnam Port bags CII award

Adani Krishnapatnam Port Limited (AKPL) has received the CII Safety Excellence Award 2024 in the service sector under the Gold category at the 4th edition of the Andhra Pradesh Safety Excellence Awards 2024 organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Southern Region.

Madireddy Pratap, IPS, Director General of the Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Response & Fire Services, presented the award to the AKPL team. This award underscores the port’s proactive approach to safety, reinforcing its position as a leader in the industry.

“We are proud of our teams for their dedication and unwavering commitment to safety, quality, and environmental sustainability. This award is a testimony to our commitment to sustainability, innovation and responsible business practices,” AKPL management said in a statement.

“AKPL has been demonstrating outstanding environmental performance by setting benchmarks in environmental stewardship. We will continue to prioritise the well-being of our employees, the quality of our operations, and the preservation of our environment,” it added.
