An air-rifle shooting range was inaugurated by Minister for Revenue Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on the premises of Sri Ramachandra Government Arts and Science College in Kothagudem of Bhadradri Kothagudem district on Friday (January 3).
The facility was set up by the Sports Authority of Telangana at ₹3.37 lakh to help budding shooters practice air rifle/pistol shooting. District Collector Jitesh V. Patel took the initiative to bring the facility to the district, according to sources.
Khammam MP Ramasahayam Raghuram Reddy, Kothagudem MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao, Mr. Jitesh V. Patel, District Youth and Sports Officer M. Parandhama Reddy and air-rifle shooting coach Abdul Nabi among others were present.
