Andhra Pradesh govt. forms task force to operationalise the MoU signed with Gates Foundation

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has constituted the ‘Andhra Pradesh – Gates Foundation Task Force’ for implementing the MoU signed by the State government and the Gates Foundation recently for harnessing technological solutions to benefit the public.

The task force members include the Special Chief Secretary (Agriculture & Cooperation), the Secretaries of IT, Electronics & Communications, Higher Education and General Administration departments, the Commissioner of Health Medical & Family Welfare, the CEO of Real Time Governance Society, and the Director of Grama Sachivalayams and Ward Sachivalayams.

“The Special Secretary, ITE&C Department, will be the member-coordinator of the task force,” said a G.O. issued by the Secretary (ITE&C) Bhaskar Katamneni. The task force would operationalise the MoU and bring synergies in efforts between the parties to the MoU.
