Annual day celebrated in grand fashion at ANU

The annual day celebrations of Acharya Nagarjuna University’s (ANU) Arts, Commerce and Law, Science, and Pharmacy colleges witnessed an rich display of student talent, spirit, and tradition on Thursday. Students lit up the campus with music, dance, and vibrant cultural performances.

Chief guest, CSB IAS Academy director M. Bala Latha emphasised the invaluable guru-shishya (teacher-student) relationship. “A teacher’s true joy lies in seeing students grow into responsible, value-driven individuals,” she said, urging students to cultivate both competence and compassion.

Chitikel Chinna Rao from the Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell highlighted the need to identify and nurture students’ inner potential. He encouraged the youth to aim not just for employment, but to become employment-generators.

Acting Vice-Chancellor K. Gangadhara Rao called for creative use of modern technology like artificial intelligence (AI). Several faculty members were felicitated, and award-winning performances by ‘divyang’ artists, folk singers, and student dancers entertained the audience.
