As part of Army Day celebrations, the Pangode Military Station is organising a weapon and equipment display and a pipe band display on Tuesday (December 14) in the city.
The programme will be held at the Kanakakunnu Palace from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., a defence spokesperson said.
Entry to the venue is free of charge. The exhibition is being conducted as part of the ‘Know your Army’ initiative and to motivate youth to join the armed forces, the spokesperson said.
The event will provide an opportunity to the public to know more about the various arms and equipment used by the Indian Army.
