The first part of the film ‘Avatar’ was released in the year 2009. After this, James waited a long time for the second part of the film so that there was no shortage in the film. The audience was waiting for the film for a long time. When the film was released on 16 December, it started with earnings of Rs 41 crore on the very first day.
Weekend will increase earnings
Weekend plays a very important role in the business of every film. People turn to cinema halls to enjoy holidays. The second part of ‘Avatar’ also got the benefit of Saturday and the film’s earnings saw an increase of 10 to 15 percent. According to Box Office India report, the film did a business of Rs 42 crore on the second day of its release. The film did best business especially in Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. In this way the film has done a business of more than Rs 83 crore in two days.
According to reports, the film did good business on the second day in the Hindi belt. Up to 25 percent increase in business took place in Mumbai and North India on Saturday. In such a situation, it is believed that Sunday may prove to be a better day for the film. The film can make better collections on the third day. It is estimated that the weekend collection could be more than Rs 125 crore.
