Banu Mushtaq’s short stories will be presented on stage in Shivamogga on June 25

Native Theatre, a theatre organisation, will hold a programme to mark Kannada writer Banu Mushtaq’s historic win of the International Booker Prize at Shivamogga Rangayana on June 25 at 5.30 p.m.

The writer’s two stories – Edeya Hanathe and Omme Hennagu Prabhuve – will be presented by H.S. Nagabhushan and Bharathi Devi P. on the stage. R.S. Halaswamy has directed it.

Poet Akshata Humchadakatte will give a talk on writer Banu Musthaq and her contributions to Kannada literature. Entry is free.
