A 32-year-old motorcycle rider was killed and another was injured in a road accident near M.S. Ramaiah Hospital in Mathikere on Wednesday.
The deceased, David, a native of Tamil Nadu, was working at a laundry unit in Mutyalanagar and was returning to his paying guest accommodation after work.
According to the police, David’s bike collided with another biker, and the duo sustained injuries. The injured were rushed to the hospital where David succumbed to his injuries later.
The Yeshwanthpura traffic police have registered a case of death due to negligence and rash and negligent driving against the other biker.
