Karnataka State Bioenergy Development Board Chairman S.E. Sudheendra met Jeannette Young, Governor of Australia and representative of Charles-III, Queensland, Australia, and discussed in detail ongoing bioenergy projects and the proposed scaling up and commercialization of bioenergy activities in Karnataka.
The chairman emphasised that the bioenergy programmes implemented and proposed activities are in line with the bioenergy programmes of the Government of Australia.
The Australian government is associated with the Renewable Gas Alliance (RGA) and the Circular Network (CEN) for the development of bioenergy sector.
Dr. Young, who responded positively to the explanation of the chairman, spoke on the abundant opportunities for cooperation between the Australia and the Karnataka State Bioenergy Development Board in the areas of capital investment, research and development, said a press release.
