Chaithanya Upadhyay-Sannidhi Bharatanatyam Rangapravesh in Hubballi tomorrow

Hubballi will witness a unique event on Sunday when a mother-daughter team will simultaneously perform as part of their Bharatanatyam Rangapravesh.

Managing trustee of Kala Sujay Sujay Shanbhag told presspersons in Hubballi on Friday that the mother-daughter duo, Chaithanya Upadhyay and Sannidhi P. Rao, who were trained by him, will stage their Bharatanatyam Rangapravesh at Sawai Gandharva Hall in Hubballi at 5.30 p.m.

While Chaithanya Upadhyay is a bank employee, Sannidhi is a Class VII student. For the last five years they have been learning the art form under his guidance. The performance will be based on Krishna Bhakti Kritis, he said.

Thinker and orator Veena Bannanje, Deputy General Manager of Karnataka Bank B. Gopalakrishna Samaga and president of DK Dravida Brahmana Samaj, Hubballi, Anantha Padmanabha Aithal will be the guests at the event to be held in the presence of Sri Sachchidananda Bharathi of Sri Sri Jagadguru Sri Shankaracharya Samsthana, Sri Edneer Math, Kerala, he said.
