Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu paid rich tributes to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the Father of the Constitution, on the latter’s birth anniversary on Monday.
In a post on social media platform X, Mr. Naidu said that one must take inspiration from Dr. Ambedkar’s life.
Referring to Dr. Ambedkar’s statement ‘a nation will prosper only when it is always alert, educated, self-respecting and self-confident’, the Chief Minister said let us all work with dedication to uphold the self-respect of the underprivileged by instilling self-confidence in them.
“Let us achieve a society free from inequalities that Dr. Ambedkar had dreamed of. On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, let us remember the great man who had laid the foundations for the modern Indian society. Let us all be re-energised for the advancement of the Dalits,” he said.
HRD Minister Nara Lokesh also paid rich tributes to Dr. Ambedkar.
In a post on X, Mr. Lokesh said, “I pay my respects to the great man.”
The path suggested by Dr. Ambedkar for the Indian society will remain exemplary forever. Dr. Ambedkar’s contribution to the development of India as a great democratic republic and a secular nation is immense. “Inspired by Dr. Ambedkar, the coalition government is working for public welfare. Let us all work towards the realisation of Dr. Ambedkar’s vision,” the Minister said.
