Unnecessary Hype
The Indian government had banned PUBG Mobile in September 2020 and within a few days of the ban, nCore Games announced FAU-G. Not only this, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar also jumped into the campaign field. Some time before the ban on Chinese apps, there was a clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers. Akshay Kumar also promoted the game vigorously in the name of self-reliant India and support of Indian soldiers. The clash of soldiers, anti-China sentiments, ban of PUBG Mobile and finally the promotion of FAU-G game under the Self-reliant India campaign, all these had increased the expectations of the game in the minds of Indian players. People started considering FAU-G as the Indian alternative to PUBG Mobile.
Boring Single Player Campaign Mode
FAU-G, which was launched after a long wait and heavy promotion, turned out to be a very simple game. The game currently has a single player campaign mode, which you just have to complete by repeatedly tapping a button. It can also be called boring in another word. There are some interesting Hindi dialogues too, but they too get repeated again and again. You may like these in the beginning, but you may soon get bored of them.

Lack of Controls, Guns, and Customizations Options
Your character in FAU-G is Lieutenant Singh. Your regiment is ambushed by Chinese opponents in the Galwan Valley. The gameplay is quite simple, consisting of fighting with hordes of enemies and the sad part is that there aren’t too many changes to the gameplay or combat. In the game, only sticks are available as weapons, the rest have to be used only with your kicks and punches. The brawler mechanics only have two buttons, ‘Hit’ and ‘Block’, so you will rarely need the ‘Block’ button. In this you will also find some places where you can restore your health. You also don’t get options to customize your character. FAU-G is missing everything that players expect from any modern action shooter game.
No Battle Royale Mode
As we mentioned above, FAU-G currently only comes with a single player campaign mode, which is boring to play. The absence of a battle royale mode in the game like PUBG Mobile may be a reason for the displeasure of PUBG fans. However, there are two more modes on the home screen of the game, which are not active at the moment. nCore Games says that ‘Free For All’ and 5v5 ‘Team Deathmatch’ modes will also be added to the game soon. Hopefully these two modes will make FAU-G more exciting.

Graphics and Bugs
The graphics of the game also look quite old compared to other games launched in 2021. There seems to be a lack of details. The game also has some bugs (problems). During the gameplay, many times it will happen that the enemy soldiers will not attack you at all. Many times it happens that you are surrounded by enemies from all sides, but none of them attacks you.
nCore Games has definitely been a bit hasty in releasing FAU-G. Although its launch was postponed several times, but now that it has been officially released, many shortcomings are still visible. It is expected that the company will correct these shortcomings through updates in the coming days and many elements that make the game exciting will also be added. Apart from this, two new modes are also to be added in the coming time. We hope this will make the game more interesting.
