A 45-year-old man was killed in a road accident near Tondapally bus stop in Shamshabad on Saturday morning (August 9, 2025).
The victim was identified as Mancherla Siddulu, a flower vendor from Pshettiguda village in Shamshabad.
The incident was reported around 7.50 a.m. when the victim was travelling towards the bus stop on his two-wheeler. According to Shamshabad Inspector K. Narender Reddy, when he reached the bus stop, a speeding goods carrier vehicle travelling in the same direction struck his vehicle from the rear.
The impact caused Siddulu to fall onto the national highway (NH) 44 carriageway, where he sustained severe head and hand injuries. He died on the spot due to excessive bleeding.
The accused driver was identified as Ranjan Singh. Following a complaint from the victim’s wife Mancherla Geeta, the Shamshabad police booked a case and initiated investigation.
