A Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) worker was killed while six others escaped with injuries when the auto-rickshaw they were travelling in had a head-on collision with another auto-rickshaw during the early hours of Wednesday.
Police said that P. Jamuna Bai, 45, a resident of Falaknuma, was heading to work in Nampally with her colleagues in an auto at around 5.40 a.m. “The other auto, heading from Charminar to Falaknuma, crashed into them. Jamuna and others were rushed to Osmania General Hospital, where she succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment,” said the police. The Shalibanda police booked a case and started a probe.
