The State government on Tuesday (March 11) released financial assistance to the tune of ₹73 crore for Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC). Finance Minister K.N. Balagopal said in a statement that the assistance has been released for pension disbursal. The Budget for the current financial year earmarked a sum of ₹900 crore for the corporation, while the government to date released a total of ₹1,572.42 crore, an excess of ₹672.42 crore of the Budget outlay.
