There are third party apps in the market like Titanium Backup and Helium, which help you in taking Android Phone Backup. But not every user is able to use it. Most users do not know how to backup their phone, or even want to avoid installing ADB drivers. In such a situation, there is no need to worry, we will help you in this matter.
Create backup of Android smartphone in this way..
backup to cloud
1. Go to the Settings option on your phone. After this select Accounts and Sync.
2. Tick mark Auto-sync data in the Accounts option. Next, tap on Google, then select the Gmail ID with which you signed in to the phone.

4. First go to Settings, then Backup & Reset.
5. Check Backup my data.
In this way, the phone’s settings including app data and Wi-Fi passwords will be saved in your Google account. Whenever you use this Google account, all your preferences, photos (via Google+) and contacts will be automatically imported. This data is constantly synced, all you have to do is log in with the same account on the other device. But through this process, backup of messages and many other types of data is not prepared, you will have to do it yourself.
Back up media, messages, and apps on your system
Next you’ll want to create a backup of music, movies, and other media files. Its method is very easy. Connect your phone to a personal computer and copy whatever data is on the microSD card. This is a manual process so you will have to keep making backups every now and then.
media
1. Connect your phone to the computer via USB cable. If you use a Mac, make sure you have the Android File Transfer application installed on your system.
2. Open My Computer on a personal computer or Finder on a Mac.
3. Navigate to the SD card and copy all the files you want to backup to your computer.
4. Once the files are copied, you can disconnect your phone from the computer.

Apps
The next step is to restore and backup the installed apps. On the new device, you can easily download the apps again using the old Google account. Go to Google Play, tap the hamburger icon (three horizontal lines) in the top left, and then select My Apps. You can reinstall previously downloaded apps from there. On the other hand, if you have created a backup on your computer, it is easier to restore it. And this will require internet. It is very simple to do this.
1. Download ES File Explorer.
2. Swipe right on the screen to arrive at the homepage of ES File Explorer.
3. On the top right, tap the Android robot icon and below it is APP.
4. Tap and hold an app until a checkmark appears on the icon.
5. Click on the tick-marked icon on the top right, this will select all the apps.
6. At the bottom line you will see Backup, tap it. By doing this, the apk files of all the apps will be saved.
7. To see which APK files are saved, tap User apps at the top. Select Backed-up Apps in the pop-up.
8. Any app can be installed by tapping on its APK file. You will not need internet for this.
9. To save a copy of these files on your computer, connect your Android phone to PC via USB.
10. Your phone will appear like a pendrive option in My Computer, click on it.
11. Go to Internal Storage, then Backups and then Apps.
12. Copy and keep all the apk files here. If you format your device, or change handset, you can copy these APK files immediately. These apps can be installed once again. For this, you will have to keep them in the same folder on your phone and follow the tips number 7 and 8.
By using these tips, you’ll save a copy of all your contacts, text messages, media, apps, Wi-Fi passwords, and your app data.
However, making backup of each essential item one by one can be troublesome. The easiest way to create a backup of your phone is with a third-party backup tool. We used Titanium Backup and it’s great, but it requires root access to your Android phone, which isn’t something most users will understand. Its interface is too complicated for average users.
Helium is a great app for those who do not know how to root their phones. Its interface is also good, but it works on selected Android phones of international manufacturers. If you have purchased mobiles of Micromax, Karbonn or Lava and many other companies, then you will not be able to use Helium. Apart from this, to use Helium you will also have to install your phone’s drivers on your computer.
