Online process for cancellation of counter tickets
1. First enter PNR number, train number. And then fill the captcha.
2. Select the check box to confirm, this is for all rules and procedure to consent.
3. After submitting, an OTP will come on the mobile number given at the time of ticket booking. After getting the OTP, add OTP and then click on submit.
4. After inserting the OTP, the information of PNR information on the screen will be seen on the display.
5. After verifying the information, click on ‘Cancel Ticket’ for full cancellation. After this, the refund amount will be shown on the screen.
6. Now an SMS will be sent to the customer with PNR and refund information. For example this way: “Your pnr xxxxxxxxxx has been canceled. Collect Refund Amt Xxxxx From Journey Commenting Station or Nearby Satellite Prs Location. Ref. Terms & Conditions ”
7. For tickets to be canceled 24 hours before the train departs (including withdrawal passenger ticket): Refund can be taken four hours before the time of leaving the train from a PRS counter of Indian Railways on submission of original PRS counter ticket. Is, provided your ticket is confirmed. If you are traveling with RAC/weightlist tickets, then you can withdraw the refund by submitting tickets for thirty minutes ago. The refund of PRS counter ticket will be available only on the submission of the original ticket at the station or near the Satellite PRS location of the IRCTC website or 139. Before canceling your ticket, make sure whether the journey is starting to collect the refund or not. The SMS that SMS will send for refund will have to be shown on the counter.
8. Once the passenger confirms the entire PNR will be canceled and PNR will be canceled. But there will be no mark as a refund in the system. The seat will be vacant. The passenger will also be told the refund amount on the website.
Terms and Conditions:
- The online counter ticket will be canceled only when you have given a valid mobile number at the time of booking.
- Online ticket will be canceled 4 hours before the ticket is confirmed and the train leaves.
- The online ticket can be canceled only 30 minutes before the train if RAC/Weightlist tickets are.
- Passenger information (name, age, gender, booking status, current status) and travel details will start appearing on the website.
- Through the website, all privilege/duty pass/PTO/Complementary pass tickets can be canceled.
