Ahead of the Assembly election, the Bihar Congress will take the responsibility of cornering the government on the issues of imminent challenges being faced by the youth of Bihar like migration, women’s issues, farmers’ crisis, problems in studies, and cuts in scholarships. These issues were discussed during the Dalit Youth Dialogue organised by Congress party in Patna.

“Today the youth of the State do not have employment. It is necessary to raise voice against paper leak, inflation, and unemployment,” Bihar Congress incharge Krishna Allavaru said during the event organised at Hotel Maurya in Patna on Wednesday (March 26, 2025).

Mr. Allavaru also said if voted to power, the reservation percentage will be increased on the lines of Telangana. He also stressed that the share of the people would be decided based on the economic and caste survey. Mr. Allavaru said that Congress has a lot of hope from Bihar.

Being present on the occasion, National Chairman of the Scheduled Caste (SC) Department of Congress party, Rajesh Lilothia said that Bihar is a fertile land and there is hope for change in Bihar.

“It is necessary to raise our voices by coming out on the streets. Narendra Modi’s government has not fulfilled the promises, so not only Dalits but youth from every section are living in discontent,” Mr. Lilothia said.

Bihar Pradesh Congress Scheduled Caste Cell vice president Ravindra Kumar Paswan pointed out that Dalit Yuva Samvad was organised so that there can be a dialogue on the party’s strategy plan and the challenges before the Dalit youth can be understood and worked upon.

“Through this dialogue, we will unite the Dalit community in favour of Congress. The focus will be on expanding the organisation to the block level and reaching the villages,” Mr. Paswan said.
