The Indian Army is set to host the ‘Know Your Army’ Mela 2025 at Golconda Fort from January 3 to 5. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between civilians and the armed forces by providing an experience into the Indian Army’s technological capabilities and operational readiness. Organised under the auspices of the Headquarters Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA), and coordinated by the Artillery Centre, Hyderabad, the event marks a prelude to the Army Day Parade 2025.
Visitors at the exhibition can see major equipment featuring advanced artillery guns, small arms and operational tools, complemented by detailed insights into their specifications and applications. Minor equipment stalls will showcase communication systems, engineering tools, and Nuclear, Biological and Chemical warfare suits, highlighting the army’s technological advancements.
Interactive experiences include photo opportunities with military equipment and recruitment booths where Army personnel will provide guidance on careers in the armed forces. There will also be live performances by military bands and exhibition of gallantry medals and valour stories, the release stated.
