Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar said that the government of Karnataka would take necessary to steps to implement the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) after studying the report of a committee looking into it.
Speaking at the conference of office-bearers of State Government Employees’ Association on February 20, he said, “A committee has been formed under the leadership of Anjum Parvez on implementation of OPS. Our government will take necessary steps to implement it after studying the report. Our party had given an assurance on implementation of OPS in our manifesto, and we are committed to it. We will do it but it requires time and patience.”
