If you want to lock your Facebook profile, you can do it from the mobile app or your browser. Although it should be noted that the desktop version of Facebook does not have the option to lock your profile, there is a workaround. Lock Facebook profile via mobile app
Open the Facebook app and tap your profile.
Add to Story Tap the three-dot menu icon next to .
Here, you will get a Lock Profile You get the option, tap on it.
The next page will give you a brief information about what it Lock Your Profile Tap on How it works with options.
You should see a pop-up that says You Locked Your Profile, here ok Tap on.
Lock Facebook profile via desktop
While there is no direct way to lock your app from the browser, there is a workaround you can use if you don’t have a mobile app to do so:

Click on your profile icon and in the URL, replace ‘www’ with ‘m’ so that the URL is now m.facebook.com/yourprofilename.
This will take you to the mobile version of Facebook on your desktop browser and you’ll see a three dot menu next to the Edit Profile option.
In the three dot menu you will see Lock Profile Option will appear, click on it.
Just like the Android version, this next page will show you how locking works, including at the bottom Lock Your Profile There is option. Click on it.
Your profile is now locked.
iOS users can use a desktop workaround to lock their profiles. Or you can manage your Android device and follow the steps to lock your profile.
If you want to unlock your Facebook profile, the steps are the same on both the mobile app and desktop. Lock Profile Instead of options, you will now get a Unlock Profile The option will appear, tap on it and press Unlock on the next screen. You will see a brief information on how to unlock your profile and at the bottom you will see the option to unlock your profile, click on it and your profile will be unlocked.
