Motorola One Fusion+ vs Poco X2: cameras comparison
Most new mid-range smartphones these days have four rear cameras and these two devices are no different. Both come equipped with a quad rear camera setup equipped with a 64-megapixel primary sensor and both offer 16-megapixel pixel-binned shots. Both have 8-megapixel wide-angle cameras and 2-megapixel depth sensors. Although here Motorola One Fusion+ Poco X2 has a 5-megapixel macro camera, while Poco X2 has a 2-megapixel macro camera. The camera apps on both these devices are slightly different, but easy to use.


We have used both the smartphones in similar conditions and seen what differences we get in photos or videos. Both smartphones were fast to lock focus and meter light in daylight. The pictures taken from both the smartphones showed good details, but Poco X2 ,review) but the artificial intelligence was too aggressive for my liking, increasing the contrast too much. The wide-angle camera performed better on the Poco X2. It delivered better detail than the Motorola One Fusion+ and surprisingly didn’t push colors too aggressively.

For macro shots, the Motorola One Fusion+ was better, as it offers higher resolution. For this reason, there is no lack of detail in the pictures.

Low-light performance on the Motorola One Fusion+ isn’t great. The Poco X2 managed to capture very bright photos with better details. With Night Mode enabled, the quality of the Motorola One Fusion+ also took a hit, but the Poco X2 still delivered better detail here. There were also less grains in the low-light pictures taken from it.

The Motorola One Fusion+ gets a 16-megapixel selfie camera, which pops out when needed, while the Poco X2 gets a 20-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Both phones can do 4K video recording. When shooting in daylight, at 1080p, video output on both phones was stable. Colors are good on the Poco X2, while the footage from the Motorola One Fusion+ was sharp. 4K videos are good on both devices, but the Poco X2’s output showed slight flickering. Low-light video performance was slightly better on the Poco X2 in both 1080p as well as 4K video recording.
