Passionate speaker and organiser of Naam Tamilar Katchi, Kaliyammal Prakasan, on Monday (February 24, 2025) announced she is leaving the party but reaffirmed her commitment to Tamil nationalist goals.
In a statement, Ms. Kaliyammal said she was undecided about leaving the party for a while because of the trust many had placed in her.
“I regret that I have had to take a decision like this,” she said, adding, “I will continue to plant the seeds of Tamil nationalism and my journey will continue.”
