OnePlus 12 vs Realme GT 5 Pro
The OnePlus 12 is pitched as a premium contender in China with prices ranging from 4,299 yuan (roughly Rs. 50,200) to 5,799 yuan (roughly Rs. 67,800), with the top-of-the-line variant featuring 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Model is also included.
At the same time, Realme GT 5 Pro proves to be cheaper in terms of price. It is priced between 3,298 Yuan (about Rs 38,500) and 4,198 (about Rs 49,000), offering configurations up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.

Starting with the display, the OnePlus 12 sports a 6.82-inch Quad-HD+ LTPO OLED screen with a dynamic refresh rate between 1Hz and 120Hz. Its peak brightness support is 4,500 nits. At the same time, Realme GT 5 Pro has a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and like OnePlus, its peak brightness support is also 4,500 nits. Realme claims that its phone supports 2,160Hz touch sampling rate.
Processor, RAM and Storage
Both OnePlus 12 and Realme GT 5 Pro smartphones support 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and come equipped with up to 1TB of storage. However, OnePlus also comes with a top-of-the-line variant with 24GB LPDDR5X RAM. At the same time, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM option is available in Realme phones.
cameras
OnePlus 12 gets a Hasselblad branded rear camera setup, which includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and f/1.6 aperture, 64-megapixel with OIS, 3x optical zoom, and f/2.6 aperture. There’s a 48-megapixel telephoto camera and a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 114-degree field-of-view.
At the same time, Realme GT 5 Pro has a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 main sensor with OIS and f/1.6 aperture, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 periscope camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera with 112-degree ultra-wide angle lens. Sony IMX355 sensor included.
Both smartphones have a 32-megapixel front camera.
Battery
OnePlus 12 packs a 5,400mAh battery with support for 100W SuperVOOC wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. While the Realme GT 5 Pro packs a 5,400mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Connectivity Options
The OnePlus 12 smartphone offers 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. Whereas Realme GT 5 Pro also supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C.
Dimensions
The OnePlus 12 measures 164.3×75.8×9.15 mm and weighs 220 grams, while the Realme GT 5 Pro measures 161×75.06×9.23 mm and weighs around 224 grams.
Some other features
The OnePlus 12 boasts of an IP65 rating for dust and splash protection and includes sensors like a gyroscope, accelerometer, magnetometer, proximity sensor, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. At the same time, Realme GT 5 Pro features 3VC Vapor Chamber Iceberg Cooling System, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res and Dolby Audio certification and palm unlocking.
