Pahalgam terror attack | ‘Attackers, conspirators will be punished beyond their imagination,’ says PM Modi

Two days after the terror attack in Pahalgam, Prime Minister Narendra said that the attackers and conspirators would be punished “beyond their imagination”.

Mr. Modi was addressing a large crowd in Madhubani, Bihar, on Thursday (April 24, 2025). He was attending a National Panchayati Raj Day programme.

“The time has come to snatch their (terrorist’s) remaining soil,” he declared, drawing cheers from the crowd.

Mr. Modi added that all of India was incensed by the attack on tourists that left 26 dead and many injured.

“The whole country, from Kargil to Kanyakumari, is sad and concerned with this terrorist attack,” he said. “The whole country is angry over the incident.” He reiterated that those responsible for the incident would not be spared.

Before Mr. Modi speech, a two-minute silence was observed to pay homage to the victims of the terror attack.
