Ramkumar currently has no share in Sivaji Ganesan’s bungalow, Madras High Court told

A submission was made before the Madras High Court on Wednesday that actor ‘Sivaji’ Ganesan alias V.C. Ganesan’s elder son Ramkumar Ganesan does not have any share, at present, in his father’s bungalow named ‘Annai Illam’ at T. Nagar in Chennai and that it belongs to the younger son Prabhu.

The submission was made before Justice Abdul Quddhose who had ordered attachment of 13,310 sq. ft., out of the 53,240 sq. ft., property following a monetary dispute between a private enterprise and a film production firm owned by Mr. Ramkumar’s son R.G. Dusshyanth and the latter’s wife Abirami Dusshyanth.

Claiming that Mr. Ramkumar too had signed the finance agreement, the private enterprise had obtained the order for attaching a portion of the bungalow on the premise that he would have one-fourth of a share in the property. However, on Wednesday, the court was told that he does not have any share at present.

After taking note of the oral submission made by his counsel, the judge asked the parties concerned to file an appropriate application to lift the attachment order. He also advised the parties to settle the monetary dispute amicably instead of choosing to litigate the matter endlessly.
