Autofocus is quite fast on both phones. When taking photos in daylight, we found that the Realme 6 camera performed better. Compared to Redmi Note 9 Pro, the details of distant subjects come out better and colors also look more natural. Redmi Note 9 Pro makes photos quite sharp and also enhances the color tones. If we look at the shots taken from the wide-angle cameras of both the phones, the details are better seen in the pictures taken from Redmi Note 9 Pro. This phone is also good for macro shots. Close-ups are almost the same on both phones. However, colors appear good in the camera of Realme 6 and the texture also looks good.

Even in low light, the Realme 6 produced better detail and exposure in dark areas of photos. However, in photos taken with the wide-angle camera, the wide-angle camera of Realme 6 performed slightly better than the Note 9 Pro.

Talking about selfies, we found that Realme 6 captures good details in selfies and also processes skin tones better. However, Redmi Note 9 Pro also did not lag far behind Realme 6 in this segment. Both the selfie cameras delivered average performance in low light, yet if we had to declare one the winner, we would say the Realme 6 is better here. In low-light photos taken with Realme 6, the skin tone appeared slightly warm.
