Ruby celebrations of Nilackal ecumenical movement

Baselios Cardinal Cleemis Catholicos, Major Archbishop-Catholicos of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church, will inaugurate the valedictory session of the ruby jubilee celebrations of the Nilackal St. Thomas Church and Ecumenical Centre on February 8. Theodosius Mar Thoma Metropolitan, president of the Nilackal Ecumenical Centre Trust, will preside over the event. Prelates from nine episcopal churches in Kerala, all participants in the ecumenical movement, will be present. According to an official statement, the Nilackal ecumenical movement unites approximately 50 lakh people across the nine church factions.
