
Arjita sevas and other sevas like Rudra Homam and Mrutyunjaya Homam, would be suspended during the Sankranti Brahmotsavams of Sri Bhramarambha Mallikarjuna Swamy temple in Srisailam.

Sankranti Brahmotsavams would be held at the Sri Bhramarambha Mallikarjuna Swamy temple, Srisailam from January 11 to January 17.
Srisailam temple Executive Officer M. Srinivasa Rao said Brahmotsavams would be held at the Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy temple twice in a year — Sankaranti Brahmotsavams on the occasion of Makara Sankramanam and Sivaratri Brahmotsavams on the occasion of Maha Sivaratri.
The Brahmotsavams would start at 8.45 a.m. on January 11 with the Yagasala Pravesam by Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy. Later, Ganapati puja will be held followed by various rituals, including Kankana Darana, Akanda Deeparadhana, and Vaastu Puja, among others. In the evening, Dwajarohana would be performed.
During the Brahmotsavams, special pujas, Rudra Homam, Chandi Homam would be performed every day.
From the second day, vahana sevas would be performed to the presiding deities of Goddess Bhramaramba and Mallikarjuna Swamy. On the first day, Brungi Vahana seva will be performed followed by Kailasa Vahana seva on January 13, Nandi Vahana seva on January 14, Ravana Vahana seva on January 15.
On the day of Makara Sankranti, Brahmotsava Kalyanam would be performed while Yaga Purnahuthi, Kalasodwasana and Trishula Snanam would be performed on January 16 morning. In the evening, Sadasyam, Nagavalli and Dwajavarohanam would be performed.
Aswa Vahana seva would be performed on the last day (January 17). The Brahmotsavams would come to a close with Pushpotsavam, Sayanotsavam and Ekantha Seva on January 17, the EO said.
Mr Srinivasa Rao said all arjitha sevas and other sevas like Rudra Homam and Mrutyunjaya Homam, among others would be suspended from January 11 to January 17.
