Sara Joseph chosen for Mathrubhumi literary award

Writer Sara Joseph has been chosen for the Mathrubhumi Sahitya Puraskaram 2024, the literary award instituted by the Mathrubhumi Group. A release said on Saturday that the award carrying a purse of ₹3 lakh, citation, and a sculpture would be given away in May first week. Ms. Joseph was chosen by a jury consisting of literary critic M. Leelavathi and writers N.S. Madhavan and E. Santhosh Kumar. The announcement was made by M.V. Shreyams Kumar, managing director, Mathrubhumi Group, and P.V. Chandran, its chairman and managing editor.
