SFI, ABVP activists clash on Law Academy campus

Activists of the Students’ Federation of India (SFI) and the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) clashed on the campus of the Kerala Law Academy on Wednesday.

At least eight persons from both sides reportedly sustained injuries in the incident which took place on Wednesday evening.

The Peroorkada police said they have registered a case based on complaints filed by the SFI and ABVP.

Kailash of the SFI Vanchiyoor committee sustained injuries to his head. An ABVP activist sustained injuries to his spine. Reportedly, tension has been brewing between the two sides for the past few weeks.

The injured were admitted to the Taluk Hospital at Peroorkada and the Government Medical College Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram.
