Senior Samajwadi Party leader Javed Ali Khan defended Chief Minister M.K. Stalin using AI Chatbots Grok and ChatGPT against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remarks.
Taking a dig at Mr. Stalin, Mr. Modi said in Rameswaram: “I am surprised when I receive letters from some leaders of Tamil Nadu; none of them are signed in Tamil. If you are proud of Tamil, then I request everyone to at least sign your name in Tamil….” Mr. Khan questioned whether signatures really had a language or script. “I am not a linguist, but I know that there is no specific language or script for signatures.” He shared screenshots from the chatbots where he had posed the same question. The chatbots had responded with an emphatic “no”.
“A signature is a personal mark, typically a stylised version of someone’s name or a unique symbol, used to authenticate or authorise something. It can be written in any language or script that the signer chooses… or even a mix of styles..” Grok replied to him.
