Former Telangana Governor and senior BJP leader Tamilisai Soundararajan, along with the party’s women’s wing executives, on Saturday met Governor R.N. Ravi at Raj Bhavan and submitted a petition on the issue of women’s safety in the State. In a social media post, the Raj Bhavan said the BJP members raised “serious issues about women’s safety and the State government’s inaction.” The BJP They urged his intervention to ensure that the case of sexual assault on a student on Anna University campus is investigated in a fair and transparent manner and justice is served to the victim at the earliest.
