Tamil Nadu Congress Committee organises rally in support of Indian Armed Forces

Tamil Nadu Congress Committee president K. Selvaperunthagai led ‘Jai Hind Yatra’ in Egmore, Chennai on Friday (May 9, 2025) evening as a show of unity and support for Indian armed forces who are fighting along the LoC.

Speaking to the reporters, Mr. Selvaperunthagai said similar rally is being held in State capitals across India to show appreciation for the soldiers defending the country.

“TNCC will also participate in the rally organised by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin (on Saturday),” he said.

Mr. Selvaperunthagai further said, “The peace rally is meant to tell the armed forces that we are there for them.”
