Telangana Police Sepak Takraw players bagged 11 bronze medals in three team events at the 73rd All India Police Volleyball Cluster Tournament held in Madhuban, Karnal, Haryana, from March 7 to 11.
Team A comprising R. Venkatesh (Chikkadpally PS, Hyderabad), N. Manoj Kumar (CAR Headquarters, Cyberabad), and B. Ramesh (Greyhounds), won three bronze medals. Team B comprising A. Rajender (13th Battalion TGSP, Mancherial), P. Gopi (AR Headquarters, Kumram Bheem Asifabad), B. Rithish (IT & Communications), and B. Manoj Kumar (4th Battalion TGSP, Warangal), secured four bronze medals. Team C, with K. Naresh (Chikkadpally PS, Hyderabad), J. Mohan (Kakatiya University PS, Warangal), M. Mohan Lal (CAR Headquarters, Hyderabad), and B. Sanjeev Kumar (CAR Headquarters, Hyderabad), also clinched four bronze medals.
Telangana DGP Jitender felicitated the players for their achievements. The event was attended by IGP (Sports) M. Ramesh, and DSP Rama Rao. The players were coached by G. Sheshikanth from the IT Cell of DGP’s Office.
