In a ghastly road accident, two people in a car were crushed to death as a truck overturned and fell on the car while trying to avoid colliding with a motorcyclist in Bagalkot district on Saturday.
The accident occurred near Seemikeri Bypass Road. The deceased have been identified as 45-year-old Ramesh Hugar of Kesanur village and 33-year-old Akbar of Gaddanakeri.
The motorcyclist too suffered injuries and is in hospital.
The Kaladagi Police have registered a case.
