A.P. State Fibernet Limited (APSFL) Chairman G.V. Reddy on Thursday announced the termination of services of two top officials and another employee for dereliction of duty.

The ousted officials are Chief Technology Officer P. Bharadwaj, Business & Operations Head G. Suresh, and Assistant Manager (Procurement) Sasank Haidar Khan.

Addressing a press conference at the APSFL head office here on Thursday, Mr. Reddy said the affairs of the State PSU was replete with irregularities. He said the sacked officials did not follow his orders on some significant matters and kept him in the dark about several other things, including maintenance of accounts.

Most importantly, the officials did not cooperate in the conduct of the vigilance inquiry into the functioning of APSFL in 2019-24, during which period it incurred huge losses.
