Handset manufacturer Asus launched Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 in the Indian market on December 11. Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 is the upgraded version of ZenFone Max Pro M1. The ZenFone Max Pro M2 smartphone will also compete with Redmi Note 5 Pro of Chinese mobile manufacturer Xiaomi. This Asus smartphone has two rear cameras and a fingerprint sensor on the back panel for security. Snapdragon 660 processor has been used in it for display notch, speed and multitasking.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 Price in India starts from Rs 12,999. A variant with 3 GB RAM / 32 GB inbuilt storage will be available at this price. The 4 GB RAM / 64 GB storage variant of the phone will be available for Rs 14,999. 6 GB RAM / 64 GB inbuilt storage variant will be sold for Rs 16,999. This phone will be available in Blue and Titanium colors from December 18 on e-commerce site Flipkart. The launch offer will include no interest EMI and Flipkart’s complete mobile protection program for just Rs 99.

Xiaomi has launched two variants of its Redmi Note 6 Pro in the Indian market. The price of 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant of Redmi Note 6 Pro is Rs 13,999. At the same time, 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant will be sold for Rs 15,999. It is available exclusively on Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home stores. The smartphone has been launched in Black, Blue, Red and Rose Gold colors.

The price of Realme 2 Pro starts from Rs 13,990. 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variants will be sold at this price. The price of 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant of the handset is Rs 15,990. The most powerful variant of Realme 2 Pro is priced at Rs 17,990. It is equipped with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. Like Realme 2, this phone is also sold exclusively on the e-commerce site Flipkart. Customers can buy the handset in Black Sea, Blue Ocean and Ice Lake colors.

Asus smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo, Redmi Note 6 Pro runs on MIUI 10 and Realme 2 Pro runs on ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Dual-SIM (Nano) support is present in all three smartphones. The Zenfone Max Pro M2 handset has a 6.26-inch full HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) display, while the Redmi Note 6 Pro has a 6.26-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD full screen panel. The Realme 2 Pro smartphone has a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) display.

Asus handset will have 3 GB, 4 GB and 6 GB RAM options with Snapdragon 660 processor. Based on RAM and storage, there are three variants of Realme 2 Pro handset – 4 GB RAM / 6 GB RAM / 8 GB RAM. Snapdragon 660 processor has been used for speed and multitasking. So, Redmi Note 6 Pro is also equipped with Snapdragon 636 chipset like Asus smartphone. You will get this handset in two RAM options: 4 GB and 6 GB.

ZenFone Max Pro M2 has two options for inbuilt storage – 32 GB or 64 GB. Both variants will support microSD cards up to 2 TB. 64 GB variant of Redmi Note 6 Pro has been launched and it will be available in only one variant. Based on RAM and storage, there are two variants of Realme 2 Pro handset – 64 GB / 128 GB storage. It is possible to expand the capacity of Redmi Note 6 Pro and Realme 2 Pro up to 256 GB with the help of microSD card.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 has dual rear camera setup. The primary sensor is 12 megapixels. With this, a 5 megapixel sensor will work in Jugalbandi. The rear camera setup is equipped with EIS, 4K video recording support and LED flash module. ZenFone Max Pro M2 has a 13-megapixel sensor with F/2.0 aperture, 1.12 micron pixels and LED flash on the front panel. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has a dual camera setup on the back. The primary sensor is of 12 megapixels and the secondary sensor is of 5 megapixels. The rear cameras come with dual pixel autofocus, 1.4 micron pixels and AI Portrait 2.0. Two cameras are also provided on the front panel. The primary sensor is 20 megapixels and the secondary sensor is 2 megapixels.

Now let’s talk about camera setup. Realme 2 Pro has dual rear camera setup. The primary sensor is 16 megapixels. It is equipped with F/1.7 aperture, 6P lens and Sony IMX398 sensor. Along with this, there is a 2 megapixel sensor present in Jugalmbdi. Users will be able to record 4K videos at 30 frames per second. There is a 16-megapixel sensor with F/2.0 aperture on the front panel. It is equipped with AI Beauty 2.0. AI features have been provided in the camera for portrait mode. The phone supports AR stickers with front and rear cameras.

Connectivity features of the ZenFone Max Pro M2 smartphone include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB port. Connectivity features of Redmi Note 6 Pro include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Micro-USB port and 3.5mm headphone jack. Connectivity features in Realme 2 Pro include USB OTG, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE and GPS.

Accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope and proximity sensor are part of this phone in Zenfone Max Pro M2. Accelerometer, ambient light sensor, electronic compass, gyroscope, IR blaster, proximity sensor and fingerprint sensor are part of this phone in Redmi Note 6 Pro.
