A woman suffered injury after she was accidentally hit by a bullet fired by a policeman during the firing practice session in Koppal on Tuesday.
As per available information, District Armed Reserve (DAR) policemen were practising firearms shooting at Kummatadurga near Jabbalagudda village in Koppal taluk when the incident happened.
The woman, Renukamma, was grazing sheep near the shooting range when policemen were practising target shooting.
She was accidently hit by a bullet on her arm. She was immediately rushed to a hospital in Munirabad.
