Youth stabbed to death during drunken brawl in Kerala’s Wayanad

A 24-year-old man was stabbed to death during a drunken brawl near a beverages outlet at Pulpally in Kerala’s Wayanad district on Wednesday night (February 12, 2025). The victim was identified as Riyas, a resident of Eriyappally.

The clash took place at around 10 p.m. Police sources said the man who sustained multiple stab injuries died on the way to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital.

Based on the statements of a few local eyewitnesses, the police intensified the search for two Meenamkolly natives who reportedly locked horns with the man and attacked him. Riyas was reportedly involved in a number of criminal cases in Wayanad district.
